single workstation on LAN DNS not working outside LAN

I have a workstation on our LAN that all of a sudden cannot browse the internet. It can ping using IP address w/o a problem and both DNS servers can be pinged. The default gateway can be pinged and by IP and FQDN but nothing outside the network can be pinged by FQDN. Nslookup shows the following: Can't find server name, no response from server, default server unknown. I know there is some kind of DNS problem, but all of the other workstations are set up identical, using the same DNS servers, and can browse and ping without any issues. Also, my printer is a network printer and I can ping the IP address of it but cannot print to it - says it cannot connect to printer - which again has to be DNS related. There are other posts similar to my problem but none seem to have a resolution. Can someone please help ASAP. Thanks

You are convinced this is a DNS problem, but you said you can ping the
gateway by FQDN.
If you can ping a FQDN, that would tell me DNS is working.
Nslookup is not a good tool for testing DNS.
Can you connect to your printer by IP address? Most network printers are
shared by the NetBIOS name, unless you have record created in DNS for you
network printer, DNS should not be queried for the printer name.
