Single w2k Pro box: User inheritance.

On a single w2k box is there any way I can configure all
users to inherit a set of Quick-Launch tray application
icons? I can easily accomplish a similar desktop process
by copying icons to "All Users\Desktop", but I would
prefer to have a goup of these icons automatically in the
tray.

Log on as administrator on your windows 2000 pro machine....Look for a folder called Default users...make any known changes you want to carry to your users(example=your taskbar, mouse settings, sounds, etc..)...then create some users.....copy those files to the default user folder under the doucments and settings folder...once you do that every user you create will carry those exact settings and be able to change them...you can assign it to be mandatory by renaming the ntuser.dat to ntuser.man of course thats if your users are connecting from other machines....notice inital user..thats the first profile created on your machine..right now im the process of studying for the exam..just giving you my knowledge of the matter
