We are running a variety of applications on our Windows 2000 servers, most
of which have a unique sign-on. Does anyone know of a good Single sign-on
solution? The number of usernames and passwords for every system and it's
applications has grown out of hand. One sign-on process would be desired.

Thanks

Greetings --

The various applications cannot be configured to accept domain
authentications?

Well, to tell you the truth, there are single sign-on solutions that work to
a certain extent. They work in conjuction will multiple applications and
all you have to do is sign-on to your system or desktop. I was wondering if
anyone has come across a good one that works pretty well. I am currently
testing one from Citrix and will be testing others down the future.

Allison,
E-Certify released an Identity Management with ADS, LDAP, NDS
authentication with SSO to IIS (ISAPI), Citrix (both ICA and Web
client) and Win32 applications. The product also support various
authentication methods including certificate, biometric, USB keys,
smartcard, TPM, password or any layered combination. If you wish to
evaluate the product please let me know

Hi,

I am also looking for a way to preform single sign-on for various applications. I am a newbie at this so forgive my ignorance but what ways are there to perform single sign-on services? I have been researching CAs but are they better alternatives than buying a new server?

Thanks,
Aaron
