Single POP Account Repeated Dowloads Same Messages

I've had previously enabled (like similar accts) the option to leave a copy
of the email messages on the server, and after reading several threads, I
disabled this option on the account I continue to have a problem with
send/receive.

When send/receiving Outlook 2003 SP2 "redownloads" the same mail messages.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Then those messages must still be on the server and you do not have the
option to delete them enabled.

I had the same problem, it turned out I had the same account listed twice in
Outlook account search and since I did not have the delete option on the
receive messages, it would download twice.
