single occurence of an application with windows ce.net

i want to have only one occurence of a specific application running at the
same time. this is the default behaviour on pocket pc but not in ce.net.
does someone know how i can do it in ce.net?

It's done by creating and checking for a mutex at app startup. Search the
archives for "Mutex" and "Single Instance" and you should find code for it.

Hi,

The following sample from www.gotdotnet.com shows how you can detect
previous instances and bring them to front.

Although there is another way which uses FindWindow and
SetForegroundWindows APIs, Mutex approach is better, simpler and more
reliable.
