single executable file to customize Windows XP ?

I am a university student and we have to use communal computers. When
I log on to any computer, the My Documents folder is there, and it has
my files in. But everything else always starts out with some default
settings. Anything not stored in My Documents gets deleted when you
log off.

What I would like to have is a single executable file that customizes
Windows (e.g. change to "classic taskbar", change windows and buttons
to "Windows classic style", set the background image), changes the
Internet Explorer settings to how I like them, and runs several
freeware utilities such as PureText and TClockEx. Then every time I
log in I could just double-click on this file.

Is this possible? Perhaps it is too much to hope for. I found that in
the display settings you can save the "theme" as a file. But I can't
find any way to customize the taskbar other than doing it manually. I
found some freeware automation programs (AutoHotKey, AutoIt, etc.),
but these seem very complicated to use.

I only have 40 or 50 MB space in My Documents, and obviously I want to
keep other files in there too, so it needs to be small. Thanks for any
ideas.

Not sure how youre set up with xp however,one can/could save all thier
settings on xp,all data (music,WMP settings,etc),by using the xp File
Transfer
Wizard.You'd one time,open wizard,set as old pc,select data for it to
save,save
in a new folder you created,once all the data is collected,move folder to a
cd.
Then at xp start,run the wizard in new pc mode,install cd,youre finished,the
settings & data transfer should only take .30-.45 seconds or so...This also
can
be used as a backup,& this situation will apply to any xp pc you use....

Yes, AutoIT will do that, and create a small exe file, but you will need
to invest your own time, if you expect to reap the reward.
