Since windows defender update I can not download anything ( win 7

everything was fine, then defender updated itself, now I can not download
anything.
I need drivers for my printer & stuff for my phone.
I has to be defender because I have uninstalled EVERY security program and
still the download would not start. I can not even shut this DEFENDER down.

A better option would be to Disable Windows Defender instead.

Open Windows Defender > Tools > Options > Uncheck Use Real Time Protection
check box and also Use Windows Defender under Administrative Options
checkbox. Click on Save.

Also type services in start menu search bar and hit Enter to open Services.
Change the startup type of the Windows Defender Service from Automatic to
Disabled.

Reboot.

Also, could you supply some information on what your firewall is,
anti-virus, or antimalware software you may have installed, Security suite,
and other R-TP programs, e.g. Spybot Search & Destroy (reduced functionality
called "TeaTimer") Avira (From version 9) (Included in antivirus package),
Ad-Aware, etc?
