Dear all,

Since one of my users notebooks was infected with sasser
and cleaned using the Sophos cleaning tool and installing
the MS patch the user can not view web pages or send and
receive e-mail.

When connected to the network or dialup the same thing
happens. DNS errors, etc for web pages and no connection
to mail server.

Any ideas ??
 
Hi,

Have you considered that WINSOCK could be damaged?
Several of the spyware programs do this and you can fix it
with a program I found on the net. It is a LSP FIX. It has
worked wonders for me.
