Since the last update Outlook is terribly slow opening messages

Since Microsoft's latest update, Outlook takes about 20secs to display
messages in the preview pane and when you type, it takes about as long for
the letters to be displayed - we've disabled all external security software
in case of conflict, but it doesn't make any difference - any ideas

From several sources I got to know that this is about KB 931768. I had the
same issue and removed KB 931768 again, to wait for MS delivering a solution.
