since installing microsoft xp anything i try to print from excel .

Printing pages is always iffy. Sometimes the 3 or 4 pages print, most times
I get 1/4 of one page, none of another and a full page correctly.
 
I'd try downloading a fresh/new printer driver.

My old printer needed more memory to print pages with lots of info on them.
