Simple Year Calendar

Despite a fair amount of searching, I've still not found what I'm
looking for: a simple program that will pop-up a nice bright, large
display of the current year's calendar, with today highlighted.

Apart from that last point, I could virtually achieve what I wanted by
scanning a calendar and opening it in IrfanView. But it would be good
to be able to go forward and back to other years. And it would also be
nice to add anniversaries and special events.

Anyone have any recommendations please?

====== I like the calendar program from..
http://www.geocities.com/calendarprogram/ ... it's like a view of a
wall calendar, it highlights the day, you can type in events (like
birthdays, etc),
and it only runs when you start it .(not all the time in the
background- like most others)===========

Thanks, Mike, but I don't think it has the main feature I want: a Year
View. I currently have that on my Pocket PC, using Agenda, but it
almost needs a microscope <g>.

Yes, this is the best, with a full year display, among other display
modes, month, week, forthnight, todo-list.

It will remember the mode until it is started the next time, set it to
year display and that is what you get.
It is very customizable, colors, fonts etc..

English or german interface and holidays.

Unfortunately this download link hasn't worked all day, and there are
no alternative download locations.
Maybe it is on the pricelessware CD?

Otherwise we'll see if the server shows up again.
It is probably a temporary server failure.

Thanks both. Sounds good. Shame I can't reach it! Will try again
tomorrow.

Terry, can you write javascript?
I can send you 2 files. One lets you look at any month in any year.
The other displays this month and last month, with today highlighted in red.
A bit of editing will get you what you want.

Thanks, Ralph, that's kind of you, but unfortunately no, I'm not into
javascript. 'JavaScript in Easy Steps' by Mike McGrath is sitting on
the shelf over my PC; one day I'll get stuck in... <g>

Thanks - but I don't think I'm *meant* to try this program <g>

Your link worked fine, and so did the link 'Setup file for "UK's
Kalender", Version 1.2.1 1165kB'. But on trying to run the downloaded
Setup.exe I got a message "The setup files are corrupted. Please
obtain a new copy of the program."

BTW, actual size of setup.exe on my HD is 953 KB.

And the link http://www.8ung.at/ukrebs
is still failing to load.

Gibt es den auch auf deutsch zum Herunterladen? Denn die URL,
die dazu dient, den anscheinend sehr funktionellen Kalender für
die deutsche Sprache herunterzuladen, funktioniert leider nicht.
Schade.....

Same thing happened to me.
