simple sort, but ...

should be simple but i can't get it ... i want to do an alpha sort of
selected rows using the data in clm "c" for the sort criteria ...and i want
to maintain the original cell references in the rest of the selection!
anybody?

Try importing your sort 'list' into Tools>Options...>Custom Lists

Once done, select the data you want to sort and then select Data>Sort...
Select Options and in the 'first sort order' drop down select you 'list'
