Hi,

I am positive that somewhere is a simple checkbox that turns autoplay on or
off.
All we find is a dialog box that lists several options for controlling
autoplay none
of which is "run program" which is what we want.

Is there such a checkbox or am I remembering previous a previous OS?

How do we enable autoplay for application CDs?

Thanks,
Gary

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. In the Search box type: AUTOPLAY , and hit enter.
3. Click on: "Change how your computer handles multimedia content".

Download TweakUI from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

After installed run it. Expand the My Computer tab and check out the
settings under AutoPlay.

We've tried that - none of the options apply to running an application,
in this case running kids games when a CD is inserted, which is why
we are confused.
