simcity 3000 wont run - get error messgae' unexpected error, needs to close' what can i do?

Give me some system specs. You have the latest video drivers? Any patches
for game? Are you an Administrator on the machine?

yes its on my own pc , im administartor. i think all my video cards etc are up to date. (pentium 4 ) 256 mb of ram. Disk is ok as its been checked elsewhere.

do other games run fine? post your dxdiag.txt. Start->Run->"dxdiag", once it
loads up save all info, open that txt file and paste the contents in your
post.

DXDIAG crashes?

Go to Run in the Start menu type in DXDIAG hit OK. DXDIAG will then pop up
click Save all information tab and paste the data back here.
