How the hell do I get Microsoft communities to automatically refresh without
having to select another forum and then go back to the one I was originally
in?

Assuming you're using Windows Mail go to tools and either sync newsgroup or
get next 300 headers.

That is not automated if I am correct.
"F5" does the job, but again is not automated.
I am talking about a check every 60secs or so...

I would think that auto refresh would cause problems. Say you are just about
to click on a header and the news reader refreshes. The header you wanted to
click on is now buried 8 lines down and you end up clicking on something
other than what you want.

Tools/Options/General Tab - Is Check for new messages checked? Check Time ?
minutes.

Or is this too obvious?

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely
foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Also Tools/Accounts - Are all your newsgroups checked Include this account
.... when you highlight a newsgroup and click Properties?

Again sorry if I'm stating the obvious.
