signed out of .net messenger service

lately,MSN Messenger,the last upgrade,6 is it?,which i
have start and login when I sign on to my ISP,periodically
puts up a dialog box telling me I have been signed out of
the .net messenger service because I am signed in
elsewhere. sometimes,msn messenger logs itself
out,sometimes not.The OS is XP Home and I have set the
windows messenger app to not start up,yet msn messenger
behaves this way. Recently upgraded from Norton virus 2002
to Internet Security 2004,though this behaviour seems to
have started with the last upgrade of MSN messenger.Any
solutions?

No. It is very annoying. The MVP guy on this group doesnt seem to have an
answer.

Me again: I deleted MSN Messenger and am just running Windows messenger
4.7-the logout seems to have stopped but I still get notified when email to
my hotmail account comes in.
