signatures for several email accounts

When changing from one email account to another I want the automatic
signature to change as well. I think it used to do it but it doesn't anymore
for some reason...is there a way to configure the signatures that I have set
up for each email account to change when I switch between email accounts.

That happens automatically if you have a default signature defined for every
account.
