Signature with graphics fails to appear

I recently updated my signature due to some additional white space issues.
The signature has a line and a small graphic. Both of which were not added
during the update. However, when I finished the update. The signature no
longer appears due the the following error message:

"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page."

I only updated the signature. Nothing else. How can I adjust the settings
so that I may be able to view my signature. I was unable to find the
specifics under the Advanced Tab of the Internet Settings Control Panel.
