Signature not showing

John

I am using outlook 2003. The signature is not showing on
the insert menu. I have created signatures in , options,
mail format, signatures. In options, if I say which
signature I wish to use, it is automatically added when I
bring up a new e-mail. If I select "none" and wish to
choose from multiple signatures when I create the e-mail;
the "signature" does not show on the insert menu for me to
select which signature I want to use. There is a
signature under autotext, but it does not list the
signatures in my list. In outlook 2000, I would just
click on insert, the menu would drop down, I would click
on signature and select which signature I wanted to use.
I don't seem to have that option in outlook 2003. Does
anybody know a fix? Thanks, John

WordMail does not include an Insert | Signature command like the regular
Outlook editor. If you want to be able to insert a signature into a WordMail
message manually, you can to create an AutoText entry for each signature.
You can then insert them with the Insert | AutoText command.

Or, create multiple signatures the normal way (Tools | Options | Mail
Format) and make one the default. If you want to use a different signature
for the current message, right-click the signature that Outlook inserted
automatically. From the pop-up menu, select either the name of the signature
you want to use or E-mail Signature to create a new one. I personally prefer
this technique. This is also the technique you need to use if you want
Outlook 2003 to automatically change your signature when you switch accounts
on an unsent message.

Hello, my name is Chaim Salamon and I found your
solutions to the Outlook signature problem that I'm also
experienceing in the Microsoft Community Newsgroup. I
would like to ask you to expand on the first
solution...to create an Autotext entry for each
signature. I would like to have no default signature and
be able to select the one I need when it's necessary.

Could you explain the steps to create an Autotext
signature. I tried to find the instructions in the help
files with no luck.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me.

Open any Word document. Create the text you want to use as the signature.
Select that text. Choose Insert | AutoText | New. When you close the
document, you'll be asked if you want to save changes to the Normal.dot
document template. Choose Yes.
