Hi Tony...In short no..The link Abs sent you is more for if you already have a wireless router and need a booster..What mobile dongle are you using..?

I use the same one, and the strength on mine is always showing full..But it also depends on the area you are in..And dependant on what area you are in, you might only be getting 2G instead of HSDPA/3G

i get a full signal when i'm upstairs but its supposed to be mobile thanks for the advice

Yeah it is a pain when you are paying that amount every month..Mine is Pay & Go..Only time I have a poor signal is when i'm in NW London, just really poor there...I even had full strength when I went to South Africa...Just found <http://wikinerds.karastathis.org/in...20#E220.27s_hidden_internal_antenna_connector"> this all about external arials etc...
