*sigh* virus help ixplore.exe

I clicked this stupid link in one of my chat channels (as a moderator I try
to click to view the content so I can have reason to ban/kick people)
anyways. it turns out that it loaded a trojan or something.

In my processes I stoped ixplore.exe and then I removed ixplore.exe from
msconfig in startup.

Does anyone else know about this and how to remove it? I googled it but I
didn't find anything on it...lastly, norton didn't even pickup on it.

Is that the absolute spelling?

Yeah that's the exact name of the process and name of the item in msconfig.

probably figuring people would confuse it for iexplorer and not want to stop
it.

Well no, but it doesn't appear to be a major threat. It did load on my
computer via website...after clicking the link, I saw someone type virus in
the chat room so I immediately checked out my processes and closed it. Then
I disabled it from startup. Since then it has not started up, but I haven't
had the chance to try and remove it yet.
