My joystick was installed using windows 95-98, I recently
purchased a new computer with windows xp home edition the
existing drivers will not support this device. are there
updates?

To set it up,
Goto the Game Controller Control Panel
Then Add, Microsoft Sidewinder (auto-detect)...


Please note that any Profiling software that came with the gameport hardware
won't work as that was not designed for Windows XP. There are currently no
plans for updates.

provid support for us poor saps we already gave them our

The most updated drivers don't need to be downloaded because they are
already built into Windowx XP. Follow Jasons advice on using the "Microsoft
SideWinder (Auto Detect)" and you can still use your device.
