Sidewinder 1 upgrades to xp???

Does anyone have such a thing for me to use.

I can use the joystick, but can't program or update it
with my new upgrade to xp on a new machine.

If the joystick uses the 15 pin gameport, there will not be any updates
ever. MS is "phasing" out the gameport drivers for they do not follow the
new WDM driver standards.

BTW: They are also working on phasing out parallel and serial ports!

The drivers are built into XP. Go to the Control Panel, click on Game
Controllers and use the AutoDetect feature. You will not be able to use the
old profiles. New profiles will be part of the game software.
