Another idea: Does running Windows Sidebar as an administrator help.
Click Start, type "sidebar" in the Search box. In the search results, right click the "Windows Sidebar" entry and choose "Run as Administrator".
Are the gadgets displayed correctly?

No ACCESS DENIED errors shown. Tryed also with Process Monitor V1.12.
What do you suggest to do? It's not a vital problem, but I'm really pissed
off with this problem. It's impossible that nobody can solve it!
If you solve it, i'll buy you a beer! ;-P
Thanks!
No concrete clues. But might be a registry permissions problem also. I'd try
using Process Monitor and see if there are any ACCESS DENIED errors
registered, when opening the Windows Sidebar.

I've tryed, but still nothing.
Anyone knows how?
Hi Memer,
This could be due to missing XML registration. See:

I'm having problems with the windows vista sidebar. It was working fine then
suddenly it stopped working and I can't seem to view the gadgets properly.
They appear either as a blank black or white box.
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Or maybe if there is a way to
reinstall the sidebar?
Thanks!
