sidebar not working 100%

Sidebar is on my desktop usually...however, when I press the icon Show my
Desktop, the sidebar is no longer on my desktop
In order to haveit, i have to minimize all my open programmes.

Any ideas to how?

You can set the sidebar to always be on top or just press show desktop again.

Try pressing the Space Bar or double click the Sidebar Icon in the tray.
