Sidebar Lockup

When my laptop goes into sleep mode with the sidebar active, it locks up. any
Ideas which settings will correct this?

I'd start by removing all the widgets from the sidebar and see if it keeps
locking up. If it does not, then add them back one at a time and test each
one to see which one causes the problem.

Thanks Richard. Tried that. No luck. With no gadgets installed the machine
still locks up when put into sleep mode.

Have you checked for updated video drivers? If it happens when only the
toolbar is loaded I'd be suspicious that it's a video driver problem.
