sidebar is gone

hi folks.
I clicked on the X on my sidebar and now it's not visible anymore. I tried
several times to activate the sidebar again and reboot but it is all useless.

When I go the the taskmanager is see the sidebar is launched in the process
tab. When I quit that process and reboot, then activate the sidebar again, it
is still not visible. I've asked a friend of me to try on his computer and he
has the same problem.

Can I get that sidebar back please?

Start>All Programs>Accessories>Windows Sidebar.

not sure what "X" you're talking about, but right-click on the sidebar icon
in the notification tray and select 'show sidebar'.
