Side bars

I don't know what I did but now when I open a new window, say the Recycle
Bin, the side bar with the options is gone. The same for my Documents, My
Pictures, etc. Any help, please??

See if this helps.

Go to Control Panel and double click Folder Options.
On the General page, make sure "Show common tasks in folders" is selected.
Click OK.
