side bar with inbox, outbox, trash, etc has disappeared,

I just started on Windows mail and had the sidebar that is right beside the
paperclip, exclamation point, etc there, Then I clicked on something, don't
have any idea what, and they disappeared. How do I get them back? Thank
you.

In Windows Mail: View, Layout, select "Folder List".
If that was already selected, do you see "Local Folders" near the
upper left corner? If so, click the little triangle in front of it.
