shutting down

nwhen I try to shut down a window appears saying "End Prog -Card Reader
lookup Window". The prog will not close. I need to "end now" and possibly
lose data according to the warning I am givern. What does it all mean
 
Do you have a printer attached to your PC that has a card reader?
If you do, shut it down first.
