Shutting Down

I have just upgraded from 98 to xp. In 98 when I shut my
computer down through the start menu the computer would
turn off automatically. Now in xp the only options I get
are hibernate, turn off and restart. But none of these
shut the computer down automatically. How do I remedy
this?
