Try to find a newspaper from August, 2003.
In it, you may find mention of the term: "Blaster" worm.

Did you know that free security updates are available to
download from Microsoft? What a suprise, eh?
Windows XP also comes equipped with something called
a "firewall." No, you cannot see it or touch it, it is software.
Look this term up in Help and Support on the Start Menu.

And then, type: blaster worm into your search engine.

Hi,

Your system is infected by RPC (W32.Blaster) Worm. This is causing the
system to shutdown abnormally.
