using xp home edition sp 1. clean install. at first I
could shut down normally from windows. I now have to
shut down manually using push button. need fix.

heey i have the same prob as well.
I would not a have a clean shut down the first time I do
so ... it will reboot instead ... sometimes after a while
where it seems to have shut down.
Usually I need to 'shut down' twice.
