When I shutdown the pc (XP Pro) it restarts automatically. I don't know if
it's a driver problem or something else. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Have you tried running some spyware programs also run your antivirus program
and see if find anything your PC. Do you install anything before when this
started happening, chance are uninstalling the app might fix the issue. Go
do a Windows update and download all the updates from Microsoft.com.

Your problem interested me since I was have different shutdown issues. I have
a MS Bluetooth KB and Mouse. The KB also has a sleep button which I have
never pressed. I became courious about what it would do, since the
motherboard's BIOS hasn't a clue what how to talk to it. It went to sleep
and, of course, wouldn't wake up. I wonder what the designer was thinking
;=} Fortunatly the power button did the right thing.

First thing is to determine if it's restarting because of an error. Right
click on My Computer | Properties | Advanced tab | Startup and Recovery -
Settings. Under System failure uncheck Automatically restart. Ok out.

Now when you restart does it go to a blue screen with an error message? If
so start your research on the specific error here:

And do a Google search on it, www.google.com.

It came up with an error and I researched it and googled it, but no luck. I
looked in the event viewer for errors. I installed the UPHclean to see if it
would solve the problem, it did not.

STOP 0x0000000A (0xBAD0B1CC, 0x00000002, 0x00000002, 0x806FFA16)
I think it might be a driver, but I'm not sure.

Yes that error almost always indicates a driver problem.
