Shutdown Problem - Hotkey Keyboard

Please help,

When I go to shutdown I get a hotkey keyboard popup that
says access violation at address 00431232 read of address
FF9E7EB4.

After I click the ok or close the popup it shuts down
okay.

Have you tried updating or reinstalling the keyboard driver?

How do you do this? My system is an E-machine and did not
come with a separate disk to install the keyboard driver.
