Shutdown Icon

[Les Feinstein]

When I was using Win95 as my OS, I was able to create a shortcut on my
desktop to shut down the computer (the equivalent of using Shutdown
from the start menu).
Now I'm using Win2K Professional. Is there a way to make a similar
shortcut on my desktop?

Thanks for the info. I've downloaded the file. I haven't tried it yet,
but it sounds like just what I need.
But, what Win2K command is actually run when the Start/Shutdown
sequence is used?

Sorry, I wasn't clear, my question is, when a norm al Win 2K shutdown
is used (NOT using psshutdown), what program is actually being run to
affect this shutdown?

Also, I tested psshutdown, and it works great. Thanks again.

No program. It's a built-in function of the operating system.
