shutdown from welch virus

To WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,

my new laptop from toshiba is XP media center. I got the
the w32.welch virus and I fixed it by download the fix
kit by norton virus online. However, I experiencing
shutdown on a random bases. My computer doesn't even
restart the computer. By my antivirus program, it
indicates that I have no virus or worm in my computer. I
even reformatted my computer and somehow I still
experiencing shut down. Please help me out.
