Shutdown error

Everytime I try to shut down my computer I get the blue screen that says
VWIN32(05)+000012DO ERROR:OE:0028:C02A44A8 message. The ctrl alt del doesnt
work nor does pressing any other keys. After manual shutdown the scan disc
doesnt finish---it keeps restarting.The scan works in the safe mode but it
doesnt help the shutdown problems. Does anyone have any ideas as to what
could be happening?? I've been having these problems for a couple of months
now.
