shut downs

I keep getting messages like "Interent Explorer has
encountered a problem and must shut down. Please tell
Microsoft about this problem". I have done everything i
can do on this end. I have scanned for viruses, disk
fragmentation, removed programs, etc. I also have a lot of
microsoft ads popping up that I never had before. Some of
them for adults only. What can I do now?
 
Scan your computer for spyware. Two well-recommended (and free) programs for
this purpose are Spybot Search and Destroy and AdAware. Find them on the
Internet.
