Shut down

I have a problem with my Win 2000,it is that when I am
going to shut down my computer or restart it ,it freezes
always, does anybody knows this problem

It really depends on exactly WHAT point you machine freezes. What is on the
screen at the time?

Windows #1 Troubleshooting Step--> Does it happen in Safe Mode ?
