Showing an address for a BCC list

When sending a message to a distribution list, I put the list in the BCC
line. Is there a way to also show in the TO line that I have sent the message
to that list?
eg. I used to be able to create a fake address like "Staff List (Public
Service)" with my email address. Then when I sent a message to the list, the
TO line would show "Staff List (Public Service)" and all who received it
would know it was sent to that list but wouldn't see the addresses. Now when
I do that it shows my name in the TO line instead.

Nothing has changed. The method you used before will still work. You must
have forgotten to change the Email Display As field to show what you want.

Thanks. But the Display As field shows what I want to display (i.e. Staff
List...) but the message when delivered still shows my email address instead.
I also checked to see that the entry in the Address Book was the same as all
the others. This behaviour seems to be affecting only "fake" addresses like
the Staff List ones.
