show will not start

On powerpoint 2002, something changed and now when I click on the icon or go
to the menu to start the slide show, a separate Powerpoint tab opens in the
task bar, and nothing else. I can't get it to run.
I can run them on other computers, but not this one.

Thanks, that did it.
I never imagined that Powerpoint could find the second monitor apart from
windows, and especially then not realize it wosn't there.
