Show will not project

I saved my show with movie maker and can view it on the computer just fine.
When I connect to the projector I get sound, I can see the media player
borders and controls but the movie screen is black. What did I do wrong?

Try this-
Go to Tools, options
In the Options window, choose the Performance Tab
At the bottom of the window, click on Advanced
There are two boxes that say Use Overlays.
If they're checked, remove the checks.
