Hello,
I have Windows XP Home (SP2). I'm fully protected (with Kaspersky), and I
just recently formatted my computer. I always ajust my computer for best
performance, with one exeption, which is to show window content while
dragging.
My problem is that all of a sudden, the "show shadows under menus" is ticked
on for no reason. When I tick it off, it tick on again after unknown time,
and also after I restart my computer.
I'm running the same programs that I run before my computer was formatted.

What could be the problem?

Thanks
Tom

try login as administrator to make the changes, at login screen press
ctrl alt del twice and you'll get a login box allowing you to login as
admin.

Flamer.

There is a difference between logging in with "the" ADMINISTRATOR account and being an administrator
(having administrator rights).

You can only log in the ADMINISTRATOR account in Windows Home Edition by starting in the Safe Mode.

i changed the settings through safe mode, but then again when i restarted my
computer in normal mode the same things happend after a few more minutes...
what should i do?
