show picture on IE

I tried to buy tickets on-line but it ask to type the word from the picture
for security. But the word won't display I just get a box with the x. I
clicked on show picture but it didn't work. I have tried everything and be
through hours of the various help programs but can't find a solution for this.

I would appreciate any help.

In IE, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Multimedia section and make sure the box “Show Pictures†is
ticked.

Clear the IE cache from IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete files and Delete
offline content.
