Show Opportunity field in Task view?

When you create a Task from within an Opportunity the two are related. The
Task is placed in the regular Task folder.

In that view, is there a way to see to which Opportunity (or Contact or
Account) a Task relates?

Hi,
To see the link in a task item please do as below:
1. Open the task
2. Select any item from the drop down for "Link to History".
3. This will enable the picker tool beside the "Name" field. Click on the
Picker tool to bring up a dialog box.
4. At the bottom of this dialog box are 3 sections each for Accounts,
contacts and Opportunities. Entries within these 3 sections indicate the
parent for the task.
