"Show Names from the:" in "Select Names" (?)

When I'm composing a message and click on "To..." in order to address it (so
that the "Select Names" window comes up), and then search for my contact
folders in the "Show Names from the:" field, a number of my contacts folders
do not appear, and in addition a contact folder appears that I deleted. I've
already tried opening and closing Outlook, as well as restarting my computer,
with no luck. How can I resolve this problem? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex

For each contact folder you want to appear in the address book, right-click,
choose Properties, select the Outlook Address Book tab, and check the box
labeled "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book". To remove the deleted
folder from the address book listing, open the address book, click
Tools>Options, select the folder, and click Remove.

You are my hero, Brian. One thing I'm not clear on, though, is deleted the
(non-existent) folder from the address book. Can you be a little more
specific? I know how to view your contacts folders but how do you open an
address book?

Thanks,
Alex

Click the Address Book icon on the Standard Toolbar.
