Show in groups

Hello all,

I am using outlook 2003. I see it has this show in group
feature which I dont particularly like. I can go to my
inbox and go to view and go to arrange by and click off
the show in groups and it goes back to the way I want it.
However all my other folders I have created are still in
the show in groups format. I have to go to each folder
one at a time and disable it. Is there a way where I can
disable the show in groups for all folders in one step.

Thanks all

Lisa

This can be done when you edit the default messages view. If you change this
view all folders there are also still in this default view will change as
well. Since this quite often isn't the case you can also define a new view
and apply this view to the folder on first use.

To change/define views go to;
View-> Arrange By-> Current View-> Define Views...

Wow. This is nuts. There needs to be a way to set all folders at once no
matter what you've done with them in the past. The grouping arrangement is
really annoying. Please let MS know that people don't tend to like this and
there needs to be a way (other than writing a complex macro or going thru
folders one at a time) to do this more easily. someone wasnt' thinking
clearly when they set this feature up. :(
