Automatic grouping -turn it off

I am trying to reset the Automatic Grouping on all my email folders.
For example, I sort my email by date received. On every folder, Outlook

2003 has applied an automatic grouping by date - Date:Yesterday; Date:

Last Week; Date: Older.
I have to go to the menu View - Arrange By - Show in Groups and take
the checkmark off Show In Groups. I have to do this for every email
folder!
Is there a way to do this once? I have tried making this change at the
top-level Mailbox and closing outlook and reopening but the change does

not save for all folders.

You need to edit the default view named "messages". This is done via View >
Arrange By > Current View > Define Views > Highlight Messages > Modify
button > Other Settings.

Note: You may wish to start Outlook 1 time with the /cleanviews command line
switch before doing the above. This will ensure that all one-off views are
deleted and the built-in views are brought back to a default look.
