show hidden files

Dear all,

click my computer -> tools menu -> folder options -> view tab.
I want to choose "Show hidden files and folders".
But no use after apply as it still choose "Do not Show hidden files and
folders"
The user is administrator. Why it prohibit me to choose "Show hidden files
and folders"? How can I do and why such happen?

One must also uncheck,hide system folders & hide path,both under show
hidden files/folders.
